Kiln Dried Oak Firewood Crate - Large Logs

Our premium kiln-dried oak large log crate contains a selection of larger oak logs, with some logs measuring approximately double the size of our standard oak logs. While the length remains around 25 cm, the face dimensions of these logs typically range from 16 to 20 cm, compared to a “normal” log size of around 10 to 12 cm. This mix of larger and standard-sized logs makes the crate ideal for those seeking longer burn times and reduced refuelling, while still accommodating smaller stove openings.

Carefully dried to a moisture content of approximately 15-20%, this oak firewood provides a clean, efficient burn with steady, reliable heat output. As a denser hardwood than ash or birch, oak offers the longest burn time of any species we supply – ideal for those who prefer a slower, more controlled fire. The mix of log sizes is also suited to larger stoves, outdoor cooking, and fire pits, where long-lasting embers and sustained heat are beneficial.

Delivered in a sturdy wooden crate, which many customers reuse as a log store or kindling box, this oak firewood combines convenience with premium quality. Each crate contains 99% kiln-dried oak logs, with only a small number of other hardwoods possibly included.
